Tom Antle

Biography
Tom's percussion training formally began at the age of thirteen while playing in junior and senior school bands. These years would prove to be essential in laying a good foundation for both Tom's love and talent for being a percussionist. After studying music theory when he was in high school Tom attended Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia for four years. It is in that time that Tom decided to start a full time career in music as a Drummer.

In 2002 he traveled with his band Hope to every major city in North America where he shared the stage with hundreds of talented people, including many of his favorite artists who had helped shape both his style of playing as well as his love for music.

Tom has also been involved in the recording of 8 albums. This experience gave him the opportunity to master different drum styles: Alternative, Heavy Metal, Pop, Rock & Punk. A new CD will soon be available from his band Hope.

Tom also has a passion for African drumming techniques, which he is utilising in his new folk rock band The Nuclear.

Tom is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher that will motivate you to play drums from your first lesson.
