Don Levandier

Biography
Don Levandier has been a fan of the local music scene, and a local musician for the past 10 years. Playing with such bands as The Mere Prophets, The Sour Grapes, and currently The Ditchpigs, he has seen all of Eastern Canada while touring through various towns & cities. Although he is a singer and guitar player in The Ditchpigs, Don has also played the bass guitar as well as drummed for other Moncton groups.

When not on the road with The Ditchpigs, Don runs a local website for musicians and fans alike called Monctonlocals. Now in it's second year, Monctonlocals is a conduit for bands to post their promotional materials, dates, and share info with their fans. Fans & musicians can interact through the site's message board, which is always a very busy place. Aside from Monctonlocals, Don is also involved with The Gun To Head Coalition which helps local bands manufacture affordable, professional quality merchandise, such as pins, cds, and promotional materials. For the past year, Don has also been writing an advice and news column for local bands in Moncton's own weekly cultural newspaper, [here] magazine.
