Monique Richard - Choir

Monique Richard is professor at the Université of Moncton music department where she is responsible for the music education classes and the vocal ensembles. She completed her Master`s Degree in Choral Conducting at the University of Illinois in 1994. Trained as a pianist and music educator at the Université de Moncton, she comes from a long tradition of choral music. Monique Richard was the Arts and Music Coordinator in School District 01 in the Moncton area for seventeen years. She has adjudicated many music festivals, given choral workshops, and conducts two ensembles, the Beauséjour Choir and the Choeur Louisbour, which specializes in early music.
