Denise Leboeuf - Flute

Denise Leboeuf studied flute with Cindy Shuter at McGill University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Music. She also studied piano at the University of Ottawa with Jean-Paul Sévilla and Andrew Tunis.

She has since taught both flute and piano privately and in various music schools and camps in Québec. Since 2006, she has been a full-time teacher at the Conservatoire de musique de l'Acadie.

Her musical experiences are varied not only in the classical field but also in popular music. Along with working occasionally as a musician and accompanist for different groups in the Acadian Peninsula, she regularly works with songwriter-singer and arranger Calixte Duguay as well as with the vocal quartet Musica Mundi. This group recently recorded an album on which she extensively participated as flutist and pianist.
